Walker is a wrangler at the Yellowstone ranch and a former prisoner who gets a second chance. Rip Wheeler recruits Walker as he leaves prison and takes him on as a new ranch hand in Season 1. Walker was previously convicted of murder. Walker eventually takes the brand and becomes part of the inner circle.
Walker and Rip come to blows in Season 1 when Walker gets close to Beth. In Season 2, Walker leaves the ranch, even though Rip wants to kill him. In Season 3, Walker returns to the Yellowstone Ranch.
